Best violin strings for intermediate player?
I'm in an intermediate orchestra at my school and my strings are no good. so i need some new ones.
Any Suggestions
Thx in advance
get some on ebay
Wondertone Solo are the type I use, they work great, any Pirastro brand are useful.
you should get dominate strings!
i just got those and they are wayy better
they make you play louder and much more clearer
you can order them at whitehouseofmusic
or just ask an orchestra instructor
=)
Dominants work well on most instruments. People of all levels use them. There are tons of good strings out there, but your safest bet is probably dominants--and they are relatively inexpensive.
I'd get a nice set of dominants. See:

Dominates are going to give you the best bang for your buck! They are tightly wound and have a really nice and warm sound. If you don't like those, maybe try D'Adarrios.
