Alexander empire was divided into four major portions:Cassander ruled in Macedon,Lysimachus in Thrace,Seleucus in Mesopotamia & Persia,& Ptolemy Sater in the Levant & Egypt.Anitigonus ruled for a while in Anatolia & Syria but was defeated by the other generals at Ipsus{301BC}.
