4.0rough guestimate 300-550 users easily based on 15min cookie timeout and 50/50 member/guest ratio IF your mysql, php and apache settings are optimalDepends on what vBulletin version you decide to run. Make sure to have MySQL updated, and I would think about looking into a PHP Cache system, such as Turke MMCache (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=75878&highlight=turk). I would guess you could manage 1000 to 2000 active users if you play your cards right. It really depends on the setup...
