Our organization currently leases a license for one forum and owns a license for a 2nd different forum. We plan to convert the leased license to an owned license at the renewal point, but have the following concern.
At some point in the future, we will be moving all of our web presence, including the two or more licenses of vBulletin, from one hosting service to another, or possibly to our own in-house network.
This is a move only, and while the domain / IP address would change, the vBulletin forums would remain the same. They would NOT remain on the old domain address.
Can we retain our licenses when we do this or do we need to purchase another license for each board we are running?

All you need to do is login to the Members Area and update the URL for that particular license.Yes ;) as long as you own two licenses, and you only have two installs that are online, you can move servers / domains / etc as long as you update the members area with the new details (such as a domain change).#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
